Tradition Magazine welcomes submissions and pitches on the topics of upcoming issues only.
The next topic will be Pilgrimage. Please send any submissions for that issue by 10 January 2025.
Unfortunately, once an issue is published, we will not be revisiting that topic.
Submissions should generally run between 800 and 2,000 words. Articles should not have footnotes or a bibliography: everything we produce has to be ready to be recorded for audio. Instead of footnotes, in-text citations may be used (for example, “as the philosopher David Stove wrote in The Plato Cult, …”)
Please include a byline and a square(ish) picture of you if you’d like one to be published alongside your article. Submit articles as a Microsoft Word Document or in text in an email.
All submissions may be subject to editing for grammar, expression, clarity, content, and brevity. For all but minor changes, the edited manuscript will be returned to the author for approval before publication.
Tradition Magazine retains the rights to reprint the article, including in printed version of Trad Mag, and to distribute your article through audio and video means. Your article will remain on the Trad Mag site, and will not be edited after publication. All other rights are retained by you, the author.
The Trad Mag team will try to respond to all submissions. If you haven’t heard back from us three weeks after submission, please assume that the submission has been declined.
Submissions should be sent to info@tradmag.org.
